Atractosteus Tropicus aka Tropical Gar

Got 2 more pieces of Tropical Gars last week due to the impending ban of Gars by AVA.

One of them is of the darker variant while the other of the whiter variant. Interesting to see how they will grow into.

Lepisosteus Platyrhincus aka Florida Gar

Got this beautiful piece of Florida Gar from Stones in Dec 2010. It was barely 8" then and rather skinny looking. It has since put on 5" in length and looks pretty fat. Eats everything anytime.

Nandopsis Bartoni

This was the first pair of Bartonis that was purchased in March 2011. Love the breeding colors displayed but have passed on due to bloat. I have since purchased 4 more pieces.

Cichla Kelberi (Wild Caught) aka Peacock Bass

Purchased 3 Cichla Kelberis in Dec 2010. They were about 8" and 2 of them have since grown to 12" while remaining one stays around 9". The smaller one simply refuses to take MPs and will only take BF. Attempted to starve her once for 40+ days and finally gave in to her demands.

Parachromis Managuensis aka Jaguar Fries

This is my 3rd spawn within 3 months. Never really successful rearing them into juvenile stage yet!

Acquired this WC Polypterus Congicus Bichir (9") beginning May 2011.

Lates Japonicus aka Japanese Perch

1 of 2 Lates Japonicus (Japanese Perch).

Great contrast & coloration.

Purchased 2 pieces at 6" through special GB on 12/12/2010.

Adapted to MP diet after 2 weeks and they are now 12".

These guys are big eaters, thus ballooning 2" per month!

Absolute Gold Crossback Arowana

Got these 2 pieces of Pang Long Golden Head Crossback Arowanas on 1st Jan 2011.

Truly beautiful Absolute Goldens but recently decided to put them up for sale to free up space in my Monster Tank.

They were 12" when they entered my tank and were 14" when they exited last week.
